How exchange costs work
When you buy gold and silver with OWNx, you own portions of low-premium large bars. This maximizes the ounces you accumulate because your money goes toward metal instead of minting premiums.
When you take delivery, your large-bar ownership is exchanged for the smaller coins and bars you select. The cost difference between large bars and smaller minted items, plus shipping and insurance, is your exchange cost. It's deducted from your holdings at current market price, and you see the total before you confirm.
This is the same premium you would pay buying coins or bars anywhere else. The difference is that with OWNx, you only pay it when you're ready to take delivery, not when you buy.
