Precious metals are priced according to what is known as the "spot" price, which is set by the Commodities Futures Trading Commission. This is the price that very large buyers purchase their metal.

In normal markets, the price for large bar physical bullion is very close to the “spot” price. However, recent market disruptions have caused a significant increase for actual physical bullion in large bar form over the quoted “spot” price. As market conditions return to normal, we expect this divergence to return to normal.

There is a small storage fee of 0.05% per month regardless of which depository it is stored in. This fee is deducted from your metals account automatically on the first of each month. For example, if you have 20 troy ounces of silver in your account, your storage fee would equal .01 troy ounces of silver.

Right now there is extremely high demand for smaller deliverable items. Subject to availability, from your Dashboard, you can convert your stored metal into these deliverable items and have them shipped to your front door.
